ADUs (Accessory Dwelling Units) are a marvelous way to increase housing availability and choice while honoring the architectural character and scale of a neighborhood. This ADU in Northeast Portland converts an existing garage into a studio apartment. French doors at the rear and an overhead door that opens onto shared outdoor space allow a generous amount of light to fill the space.
