About

I’m a registered architect and certified planner working at the intersection of urban design, planning, and community engagement to help build thriving and lovable neighborhoods. I’m drawn to work that wrestles with the complexity of policy and power, particularly in places that have been shaped by change.

My work spans urban planning, architecture, and place-based strategy. I’ve led and collaborated on neighborhood vision plans, economic development efforts, public storytelling projects, and long-range planning initiatives, often in post-industrial or historically red-lined communities. I’m especially interested in how context—socioeconomic, political, cultural—shows up in the built environment, and how planning and design can either reinforce barriers or help dismantle them.

At the core of my practice is a deep belief in collective creativity, access, and shared authorship. That belief shapes how I work with communities, collaborate across disciplines, and teach—prioritizing clear language, active listening, and co-authorship of processes and plans.
